Lakadong Turmeric Powder | लकाडोंग हल्दी पाउडर

Lakadong Turmeric is sourced directly from the village of Mulieh, located near Lakadong at the foothills of Meghalaya's western Jaintia Hills. This turmeric type has become well-known throughout the world due to its high curcumin level (10–12%), which is higher than the 3-4% seen in other kinds. Lakadong Turmeric is produced on-site by farmers using only age-old methods such as hand-harvesting rhizomes, hand-slicing, sun-drying, and hand-weshing. 
The powder is extremely fragrant and has a color that is dark brownish yellow.
